Spring has finally arrived and with it, plenty of flower pictures. I can't help it, wherever I go, I see beautiful, fragrant gardens and I just have to stop and take pictures. I am a gardener at heart and I can't wait to teach Lucy all about the different types of flowers in our garden and show her how to plant seeds.
Day 123: I mentioned my new necklace in week 12 (it has three little birds on it, because "every little thing, is gonna be all right"). Today, I saw three birds on a wire, and it made me smile.
Day 124: Lucy loves collecting flowers and swinging with them. She also loves giving those flowers away. Lucky Grandpa.
Day 125: Lucy explored my mom's garden as the sun faded below the horizon.
Day 125 Part 2: the magic of childhood is often found in the simple things.
Day 126: Lucy's favorite letter card has always been O.
Day 126 Part 2: Lucy took her links and put them around her neck like a necklace. My heart burst with cuteness and surprise at her innovation.
Day 127: Pink trees bend across the sidewalk, creating a canopy above our heads. It's magical.
Day 128: A trip to Philadelphia to get Lucy's eye marked for her treatment on Monday. We wait in an adult waiting room, the walls painted in a Disney mural to try to make it more kid friendly. I stare at my daughter, who is so much bigger than the 8 week old we brought into this room for the first time over a year ago and yet she still seems impossibly small to be dealing with all of this.
Day 128 Part two: Lucy loves to steal Gramby's prayer books. She especially loves the Blessed Mother.
Day 129: Truer words have never been spoken (or put on a refrigerator). Lucky Lucy.
Day 129 part two: Lucy...come back! :)
See you next week!
