What a week! There were flowers, two visits to CHOP and lots of sunny days to play outside. We even went back to Connecticut for Memorial Day. We'll be back in Connecticut full time soon, but for now, I'm enjoying New Jersey and so is Lucy! Despite the many obstacles she is facing, she is a ray of sunshine and joy personified.
Day 137: Collecting flowers with Grandpa. I love these two.
Day 137 Part 2: Oh, that lower lip.
Day 138: The secret garden at Gramby's house. Lucy loves the pathways.
Day 139: A trip to CHOP with Grandpa. I can't even with these two.
Day 139: It was a busy day for our little Lucy bug but she made sure to keep us all smiling from morning to night. Not bad for a girl who had a blood draw and unexpected X-ray today. Her numbers are low and we need to go back on Thursday but the x-ray came back a-ok! YAY!
Day 140: Grandpa, please help me with my bracelets.
Day 140: YAY! Clap, clap, clap.
Day 141: Another trip to CHOP. This time, her numbers weren't ok, and we had to stay for a transfusion. I love that she is smiling with her little arm in the no no (the no no keeps the iv away from little hands).
Day 142: DADA!!! Also, Jimmy Nuetron has nothing on her morning hair! :)
Day 143: Our CT garden. Even though it's pretty neglected, it's SO PRETTY!
Day 143 Part 2: Nighttime in NJ. Lucy filled the whole table with her toys, then tried to steal Gramby's book when she wasn't looking.
See you next week!
