It's officially SUMMER! I am so excited for long(er) days, warm(er) weather, and evenings spent outside. I've been working during the day and spending evenings on the beach with Lucy when the sun is low and the crowds are light. I am so blessed that during this difficult season of life, my parents have welcomed us with open arms so that Lucy can have continuity of care with her doctors in Philadelphia and I can keep up with my work in Connecticut. Can't wait to see some of my favorite families soon!
Day 164: We spent the afternoon playing in a garden of primrose and the evening with the wind in our hair.

Day 165: Cute little ruffle bum in the grass.
Day 165: It was an absolutely perfect evening on the beach.
Day 166: A trip to CHOP for a blood draw. I can't believe how little and big she is at the same time. When she loves things, she tucks them under her arm or under her chin.
Day 166: I love our little wild flower and her little blue bandaid from CHOP.

Day 167: Lucy had an early morning exam at Wills Eye in Philadelphia. As we waited for our coffee, the brilliant sky was a welcome distraction.
Day 167: Waiting at Wills Eye, and looking out the window with Gramby and Grandpa. After Lucy's eye exam (where she also receives chemo injections), she is very swollen and very tired. Snuggles were in order.
Day 168: Lucy woke up the next morning still swollen and light sensitive. Cuddles and sunglasses were still in order.
Day 168: Back in Connecticut for a wedding. The sun set outside Lucy's nursery as brilliantly as the sun rose the day before. My mom calls things like this god winks. Just a pretty little reminder He's watching over us.
Day 169: Kelley & Dave are married! What a perfect day for a wedding at Eolia Mansion!
DAy 170: Personality plus (she helped pick out her outfit). Doggy gets a bone mama?
DAy 170: Sharing the flowers with Grover.
Day 170: I can't even with this girl. That smile.
Day 170: It's all about the shoes.
