After such a momentous week 27 we were happy to have a fairly uneventful week. We had one trip to CHOP for a blood draw but otherwise, it was all fun in Lucyland. It's nice to watch her be a regular kid. Even though she's well tempered and takes all of her treatments in stride, it's beautiful to wake up and have "nothing" to do but enjoy the day.
Day 185: It started with a sunrise family session in upstate New York and continued with an afternoon dip in the kiddie pool. It was a good day.
Day 186: My favorite shade of blue :)
Day 186: Lucy lines all of her animals up on the windowsill. I love it.
Day 187: I'm not a HUGE fan of characters, the former kindergarten teacher in me wants more open ended toys, but boy does Lucy LOVE her princesses (even if she's never seen the movies)!
Day 187: A little water play in the afternoon.
Day 188: An early morning walk. Grandpa met us at the beach and filled Lucy's buckets over and over and over.
Day 188: Waterplay in the afternoon. We love filling and dumping buckets of water whether it be on the beach, or at home in the yard.
189: A blood draw at CHOP that came back with good news turned a potential transfusion into a morning spent in the CHOP garden. Lucy LOVED it.
Day 190: A gorgeous wedding at Maple Row Tree farm. Congratulations Kim & Jake!
See you next week!
