It was a good week full of fun and family. 18 months is SUCH an amazing age (although, I am sure I'll say that about every milestone). Lucy delights in everything, the big and the small and it is absolutely amazing to try to see the world through her eyes. This week, she delighted in everything from seeing a rainbow for the first time to trying corn on the cob. Both elicited squeals of excitement that are hard to beat and make my heart burst (in a good way).
Day 205: It wasn't naptime but sometimes, you have to throw schedules out the window and just enjoy the moment.

Learning how to use a BIG GIRL cup! Go Lucy, GO!

Day 206: Lucy loves to be a big girl and help Mama put away the groceries.

Day 207: There was a rainbow over the ocean on our evening walk!

And then, there was the prettiest sunset on our way back!

Day 208: We started the day with a little time in the garden. Lucy loves hydrangea!

Day 209: I was inside working and Lucy was playing with Gramby outside. I snuck away from editing for a moment to bring he a snack. I'm biased, but come on, isn't she adorable?!?

Day 210: When Lucy wakes up early, we take a quiet walk down the beach. It's so beautiful before anyone else arrives and it's just us, the seagulls and the surfers.

Just our favorite toy and our favorite bus rider, Eddie, hanging out the window.

Day 211: Lucy got to go to her first big party! Being immuno compromised for most of your life means you have to miss out on a lot of childhood milestones, but we are making up for it little by little! A charity local to where I grew up, threw an amazing party and Lucy had a BLAST!
Lucy tried watermelon, corn, and pineapple for the first time at the party and LOVED it!

Then we got dressed up and went out on the paddle boats!

This is what a party girl looks like AFTER the party! :)

See you next week!
