As summer slides gently into fall, the days stay warm but grow shorter. September brings the promise of apple picking, pumpkin spice lattes, and changing leaves, but in the meantime, we try to hold on to beachy afternoons with all of our might.
Day 234: We took a quick trip to a gorgeous garden center and Lucy had a blast chasing butterflies and hiding among the hydrangeas.
Day 235: Lucy's favorite book is "Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls" and she loves this one story about a motocross racer. Her aunt bought her a baseball cap, just like her favorite racer, Ashley Foliak is wearing in her picture.

Day 236: Monarchs in the garden!

Day 237: Lucy has started to iron her clothes (with anything she can find, including a juice box! lol). It's the cutest!
