On the first day of October, Lucy the Warrior visited a magical island surrounded by a magical sea. She ran through the fields, lifted her face to the wind, and explored the rocky shores by the water's edge. She feasted in the summer garden that was going to seed with wonder and delight. Tomatoes and beans were sampled with abandon while squash and eggplant were picked to sauté for dinner. On the way back to the house, a raspberry patch was discovered and plundered. The magical island is a healing place, for the body, for the mind, for the soul. And we were all lucky to be able to walk the fields under that lonely island sky that day.
Day: 269: We went to a festival to hear some music and Lucy took a little reading break.
Day 270: A simply magical day.
Day 271: Flowers from the magical island.
Day 272: Hello? Grandpa? Hello?
Day 273: bed hair don't care
Day 274: Outside time is the BEST time!
Day 275: Baby in a box.
