Toddler Book Review: For the Love of Nursery Rhymes

“You can find magic wherever you look. Sit back and relax, all you need is a book.”

Lucy gives it four squeals (a day!)!

A family friend gifted Lucy an amazing book when she was born. It has become one of her favorites book and we read it every single day. Some days, she sits and thumbs through it herself, examining all of the pictures and squealing with delight. Most days, we sit together on the couch and she chooses the poems she wants to hear and I read them to her.

Nursery rhymes are an age old child favorite but it's Mary Engelbreit's illustrations that make it so special. Her bright, friendly, and lively style is perfect to bring the poems to life.

I hope you love the book as much as we do! The link above is an affiliate link. Any compensation from the link goes right into Lucy's warrior fund to help us, help her, battle Retinoblastoma! You can follow along on her journey using her hashtag, #lucythewarrior on facebook and instagram. xoxo
