Toddler Book Review: Are You My Mother

“Sorry, my weekend is all BOOKED. :)”

For the second week in a row, Lucy is obsessed with an old classic and she gives this one 5 squeals!

Lucy discovered "Are You my Mother" this week and we have read it over and over and over again. It has always been one of my favorites, so that is fine by me! Who doesn't love a good baby bird saving snort?

Lucy loves every single bit of this book, she giggles when the egg jumps, and when the baby bird jumps out of the nest, and then giggles every time we meet a new character who is NOT the baby birds mother. Finally, be the end of the book, Lucy is so excited the bird finally finds his mother that she cannot help but say MAMA, and giggle. Every. single. time. It melts my heart.

It's a fun, easy, and amusing read that kids and adults can enjoy from the first page to the last.

I hope you love the books as much as we do! The links above are affiliate links. Any compensation from the link goes right into Lucy's warrior fund to help us, help her, battle Retinoblastoma! You can follow along on her journey using her hashtag, #lucythewarrior on facebook and instagram. xoxo
