It's almost Valentine's Day! One of my favorite memories from childhood was our home being decorated tip to toe for every holiday. My mom made everything magical for us from the books on the shelf to the centerpiece on the table and I am hoping I can do the same thing for baby girl. Now that she's three, I have really started to build our holiday decor collection and build our holiday library. Be sure to scroll down all the way to see the Valentine's Day fun!
Want to know which books we LOVE for Valentine's Day? There are some really sweet ones out there and SO MANY options. Just yesterday we got three more out of the library. Here are the books gracing our Valentine's Day themed reading nook this week:
Plant a Kiss is absolutely delightful. The illustrations are adorable and the message is cute. We love it!
Love Bugs is just fun. It's a pop up book so it requires a little supervision with the little ones but sure to bring smiles from adutls and kids alike!
Bunny Roo, I Love You is an all time favorite. Perfect for a baby shower gift or a read aloud bed time story.
My Furry Valentine is a cute book that is filled with animals doing animal things. Swans cruise, bears share honey, woodpeckers write on trees. It's adorable.
Not Quite Narwhal is brand new to our shelf and we are in love. Kelp, the unicorn, is born to a family of narwhals but soon finds out he might actually be a unicorn. It's a heartwarming story about family that you will want to read again and again!
Love Is is basically perfect. It's a cute story that tugs at the heartstrings and is the perfect story for parents to read with their children. This is her absolute favorite and we read it at least 10x a day!
Love from the Very Hungry Caterpillar. Anything by Eric Carle is a masterpiece and anything that involves the very hungry caterpillar is sure to delight children. Plus, now Lu tells me that "I'm the cherry on her cake", so it's a must read for me!
Tiny T. Rex and the Impossible Hug is just as cute as the title. T. Rex wants to give his friend a hug, but how?
I Like You is a cute little book about friendship. It's vintage illustrations are charming and it's a great gift for children and adults too!
Bonus: Ollie's Valentine We just got this one out of the library and it's adorable! If you are a fan of the Gossie series, your will love it!
