If you follow my wedding work, Jackie and Mike may look familiar. They threw an AMAZING NYE wedding a few years ago and it will always be a favorite of mine.
A few years later, I was honored to be invited to photograph their first son. How cute was Henry as a newborn? A few weeks ago, I got to meet baby Ollie and he's adorable. I love how the tone and perspective of a lifestyle newborn shifts from first baby to second. The stillness of life at home with your first born is replaced by the hustle and bustle of adjusting to life as a family of four. A newly minted big brother, slowly learns about his new role with both joy and uncertainty as mom and dad do the delicate dance of meeting the needs of a newborn and the needs of a toddler. There's joy, there's play, there's chatter, and it's a much different feel than the first time around but it's so beautiful in it's own way. The evolution of a family is stunning.
