“Why try to explain miracles to your kids when you can just have them plant a garden - Robert Brault”

This blog post is coming at you all the way from 2019. WHAT?!? I took the pictures, made the blog and never pressed post! This is a great actvity and we still read these books and play with our garden puzzles in 2021.

What I really loved about this activity is how Lucy made it her own. After we went outside, she came in with fistfuls of crocus and added them to the activity. Then, she spent hours "planting" the crocus.

It was a super simple setup that had a big impact. A few flower blocks and some garden books was a great starting place. She added some purple rice (you can see it scattered on the shelf in the last few pictures) and real flowers for hours of fun.
