A few weeks ago, I blogged about our DIY rainbow for St. Patrick's Day. I had planned on taking the rainbow down once March 18th arrived but the world has definitely changed since then. We decided to keep it up in our living room (minus the pot of gold) because it has become a symbol of hope. A symbol that, one day, this terrible storm will be over. Yesterday, after finding a hashtag on instagram #letsallbewell (check it out!), we decided to move ours. We moved it into our front window and it now shines brightly for all to see, a beacon of hope shining on our once busy street.
It was only up for five minutes when a car pulled over, a woman leaned out and shouted from across the street, "your house is so happy!" and then she drove off smiling. Mission accomplished.
How pretty is the rainbow from behind the sheer curtains in our window?
Want to display your own rainbow?
This post details how we made our St. Patrick's Day display but really, here is a link for the only thing you need to make a diy streamer rainbow (amazon affiliate link). If you try it out, be sure to tag us on instagram or email over a picture! I'd love to see your rainbow of hope!
xoxo,
J
