If you are anything like me, you have a closet full of unused and half used lotions and potions. Mamas, DON'T throw those lotions out! Two ingredient dough is silky smooth and SUPER easy to make! Plus, it smells delightful!
All you need is: Lotion and cornstarch. You can add food coloring if you want.
Simply mix 1/2 cup lotion and 1 cup cornstarch together and pretty soon, you will have buttery soft "lotion dough." Lucy is obsessed. If it starts to dry out, you can add more lotion! We have tried grapefruit scented and lavender scented dough and they are both winners. I have read you can use hair conditioner with similar results and have some coconut scented suave just waiting to be tested. I'll let you know how it turns out!
We mixed the food coloring as we went, but I think next time, we'll try mixing the coloring into the lotion before adding the cornstarch. Ours turned out beautiful but it took a lot of kneading to get the color consistent (although Lucy didn't mind one bit!)
