Homemade Halloween Dough

“Happy Spooky Season”

Homemade Dough + Cookie Cutters + Loose parts = one of Lucy's favorite activities. We whipped up a batch of plain dough last week for some neutral colored fun and one night while she was sleeping, I dyed it orange and black for a Halloween surprise. I put out some "spooky" loose parts, orange glitter, and our favorite dough tools as an invitation to play and when she woke up, she didn't waste one second before getting to work. First, she played with the loose parts, then she made the Halloween dough extra sparkly, and finally, she made Halloween "cookies." Super simple to set up, but very engaging!
