Puffy paint is SO easy to make and SO much fun! Lucy loves mixing up all of the ingredients and choosing the colors. So far, we have only used our hands and brushes to paint with our DIY puffy paint but we can't wait to try it out in squeeze bottles soon!
I cut paper hearts the night before so if Lucy wanted to, she could paint them. She loved them and kept asking for more.
To make puffy paint, all you need is shaving cream, glue, flour, and food coloring. Easy peasy!
Here's the recipe we used (hint, we doubled it for double the fun!)
3/4 cup shaving cream
1/4 cup white glue
1/4 cup flour
Food Coloring
Lucy mixed all of the ingredients together herself. She measures, she pours, she mixes and she ends up wearing a lot of it, but that's part of the fun.
We dyed half pink and half red and got to work!
We hung them to dry.
Then we hung them up in the living room! I love the sun she painted!
The puffy paint really dries puffy. It's so cool!
