Osbornedale State Park in Derby Connecticut is one of my favorite places to shoot. There is plenty of greenery to shoot in front of and in the fall, the fields are covered in goldenrod and milkweed pods. We decided to have a little fun in Derby with this kid's session and mixed a vintage back to school theme with a little lifestyle photography. The natural paths through the tall weeds were perfect for lifestyle shots of the siblings racing and laughing together while a clearing by a little lake provided a beautiful backdrop for posed portraits.
