Life is Wonder*Full

“watch with glittering eyes... those who don't believe in magic will never find it”

My brothers and I pretty much grew up outdoors. Mom and Dad encouraged us to play outside, rain or shine, until our cheeks were pink and the moon was starting to come up over the horizon. We made mud pies, jumped in puddles and rolled down hills. They taught us the names of the trees, and the flowers, and to recognize a bird’s song.

My parents taught me to stop and admire a sunset, to plant something and watch it grow, to take time to enjoy the little things in life.

I still believe in rolling down hills, snow ball fights, and splashing in puddles. I still stop and pick wildflowers, go outside on balmy summer nights to catch fireflies, and never miss an opportunity to lie on my back and watch the clouds float by.

I still believe that life has room for wonder, if we only find the time.
